Opening night of the play It Wasn’t Me, the sequel to the film Yesterday
On September 27th, 2024, was the opening night of the play It Wasn’t Me, the sequel to the film Yesterday, produced by Creativa Production Company Sole Ltd. Written by Vlado Daverov, directed by Liza Shopova and with original music by Kiril Marichkov, the production stars Hristo Shopov and Sofia Kuzeva-Cherneva, who revisit their roles as Ivan and Dana of 37 years ago. The play raises the difficult questions of what it means to love for life without offering any easy answers. The production is a blend between theater and film, with original footage from Yesterday and newly-filmed material being interwoven into the stage action.
