Meeting regarding the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018
On 10 October 2017, a working meeting with Ms Lilyana Pavlova, Minister for the 2018 Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The meeting was hosted by the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm was represented by Ms Maria Endreva, attorney-at-law. The priorities of the EU Presidency Trio of Estonia (from July 2017), Bulgaria (from January 2018) and Austria (from July 2018) were presented at the meeting. The priorities cover the following areas: jobs and growth, defence and security, the Western Balkans, energy, freedom and justice. As well as the priorities outlined in the draft programme of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the meeting discussed the opportunities for Bulgarian companies to take part in future projects related to the events during the Bulgarian Presidency.
