Workshop “Digital Market under EU legislative fire”
A workshop on the topic Digital Market under EU legislative fire – the E-Privacy Regulation Proposal was organized on 20.02.2018 at the Sofia City Library, American Corner, by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm. Within the scope of the event the proposed by the European commission regulation proposal was discussed, along with the amendments suggested by the Estonian and Bulgarian EU presidencies, as well as the position of business on e-privacy – content of messages, metadata, terminal user device data. The topic was presented by the chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria Mr. Petar Ivanov, Iva Todorova – chairman of the Digital Economy Comittee of AmCham, attorney-at-law Gergana Ilieva and attorney-at-law Lyuben Todev from Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm, whereas the whole second part of the workshop was dedicated to discussion of the problems arising from the proposal of the European comission with the participating members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria .
