Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm joined in the publication of Global Legal Insights on the topics of AI and big data

On invitation by Global Legal Group – a leading company in the field of specialized legal analysis and comparative legal guides – Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm joined in the issue of the Global Legal Insights series. The Global Legal Insights series is issued yearly and is aimed towards analysis of the legislation of the targeted countries and its development in the context of international business in separate fields. Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm participated in the issue, dedicated to the regulation of AI, machine learning and big data.
In May 2020 the GLI to AI, Machine Learning and Big Data 2020 was published whereas Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm joined with an analysis of the Bulgarian legislation on these topics. In the analysis were reviewed the questions concerning the creation of AI and self-teaching algorithms, as well as the ownership over algorithms created without human interference. The topics of rights over big data and the requirements for personal data protection during automated data processing were also dicussed in the analysis.
