Industry 4.0 in Bulgaria economic forum

On 23 June 2016, the Industry 4.0 in Bulgaria economic forum took place to discuss the new industrial revolution caused by the development of information technologies and the possibilities for digitalization of all aspects of the economy. The forum was opened by Dr Mitko Vassilev, President of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce which was the host of the forum. President Rossen Plevneliev of the Republic of Bulgaria and President Joachim Gauck of the Federal Republic of Germany made speeches at the opening session. The presentations were dedicated to the active involvement in the digital revolution (Thomas Hahn, Corporate Technology Chief Expert Software, Siemens AG) and the SAP connected manufacturing – the development or personalized products through synchronized manufacturing (Ralf Lehman, Senior Director Solution Management LoB Manufacturing, SAP).
