The growth of the New Silk Road – opportunities for business

The notion New Silk Road refers to a network of infrastructural projects, aimed at enhancing the existing and creating new trade and energy corridors between countries from China to the Netherlands. The projects encompass two routs, one on land and one maritime, and include all the countries along them. The estimations for annual commercial exchange in relation to the initiative are for sums nearing USD 2,5 trillion. As of now the public investments on the New Silk Road have already begun, and the next step is for the private investments related to the arising transport and energy infrastructure to start. The Mackrell International Legal Network, a member of which is also Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm, has published a report on the development of the initiative to this moment.
