Seminar Medical Liability (Medical Malpractice and Professional Liability Insurance) Two Years On

On 24 June 2016, the seminar Medical Liability (Medical Malpractice and Professional Liability Insurance) – Two Years On took place in Hall 272 of St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, where the topic was discussed comprehensively (civil law, criminal law and administrative law aspects, disciplinary liability, insurance issues, etc.) with the participation of representatives of various legal professions – lawyers, judges and legal researchers, as well as medical doctors, insurers and others. The forum offered opportunities for representatives of the Bulgarian Bar Association, lawyers from EU Member States and the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and prominent representatives of the legal doctrine, judges and medical experts to give their opinion on this matter.

The seminar was co-organized by the International Association of Lawyers (UIA), the Supreme Bar Council (SBC) and the Sofia Bar Association (SBA) with the kind assistance of the Law Department of St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University and Krustyu Tsonchev Training Centre for Lawyers. Dobrev &Lyutskanov Law Firm was represented by Mr Grozdan Dobrev, attorney-at-law, Ms Katerina Gramatikova, attorney-at-law and Mr Todor Manev, attorney-at-law, who also took active part in the organization of the event in their capacity of members of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA).
