The working breakfast with Ms Yordanka Fandukova, Mayor of the City of Sofia, which was organised by the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DBHIK) jointly with the France Bulgaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB), took place at the Sofia Grand Hotel on 21 March 2016.
The event was attended by some 80 representatives of various business sectors, ambassadors and other official guests. Mr. Tim Kurth, DBHIK President, Dr. Mitko Vassilev, DBHIK Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Stéphane Delahaye, CCIFB President, Ms. Vessela Todorova-Mosettig, CCIFB Director, Ms. Maria Boyadjiiska, Deputy Mayor for Environment, Ms. Boyka Kudreva, Acting Chief Architect of Sofia, Mr. Nikolay Stoynev, Deputy Chairman of the Sofia Municipal Council, Mr. Doncho Barbalov, Deputy Mayor for Finance and Business and Enterprise, and Mr. Plamen Tsurnorechki, Privatisation Director at the Municipal Privatisation and Investment Agency also attended the meeting. Representatives of Dobrev & Lyutskanov Law Firm were Ms. Vyara Ivanova and Ms. Nicole Atanassova, attorneys-at-law.
The objective of the meeting was to brief the representatives of the two Chambers on the investment and innovation programme of the Sofia Municipality, as well as on the possibilities for participation in future projects. Ms. Fandukova pointed out that the two major priorities of the Sofia Municipality were infrastructure investments to safeguard a cleaner environment and investments in education.
